Dec. 10, 2024—Spillane Middle School sixth grade language arts teacher Amanda Ocansey was named the Fall 2024 Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) Outstanding Cooperating Teacher for her work with Samantha Newton, a CFISD student teacher.

Oct. 1, 2024—A recent report from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) revealed that Cypress-Fairbanks ISD has one of the lowest percentages of uncertified teachers among the state’s largest districts.

The CFISD human resources department invites prospective employees interested in becoming a part of an exciting future with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD to attend the districtwide Career Fair, set for April 17 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 3:45 p.m.) at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road).
