Career Fair FAQs

We welcome applicants interested in all professional and support positions. This is an opportunity for those interested in employment with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD to meet and greet campus administrators and department leaders.

• We have career opportunities across all PreK-12 positions (elementary, middle and high school), as well as opportunities for teachers and paraprofessionals interested in supporting Bilingual, Special Education, and CTE students.
• We are also hiring bus drivers, nurses, school nutrition workers, custodians, Club Rewind staff, and many more!

• CFISD is committed to the success of its teachers. We offer a mentoring program, extensive curriculum support, PLC collaborative teams, professional development, and countless opportunities for career advancement.

All attendees are highly encouraged to bring plenty of resumes. You may also bring a copy of your certification to share with campus administrators. ACP applicants are encouraged to bring their Statement of Eligibility (SOE).

There are no specific requirements; all are welcome to attend.

Registration is not required and there are no fees associated with this event.

Absolutely! Please check your emails regularly and come to meet the campus administrators on the day of the event.

Yes, paraeducators interested in a teaching position can attend and meet our campus administrators.

Bring copies of your résumé to share with individual campuses/departments. Copies will not be made at the event.

All campuses and departments have been invited to attend the Career Fair, including 59 elementary, 20 middle, and 12 high schools, as well as 5 specialty campuses. Departments will include Operations, Transportation, Nutrition Services, Police Department and many more!

We strongly encourage all attendees to submit a completed application prior to the Career Fair. Visit Career Opportunities to see a list of all the available positions and submit your online application.

This is a “Meet and Greet” event. Campus or department leaders may choose to interview or make recommendations for hire at a later date.

Professional dress is strongly encouraged.

• The Career Fair is intended for external candidates who are interested in employment with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD.
• Current certified teachers and paraeducators should follow the district’s transfer process if interested in a lateral transfer.

Yes! During the Career Fair, you will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from Alternative Certification Programs who can share information about this process. We will also have an informative video on how to become a teacher playing in the Theatre.

Yes! CFISD’s starting salary for new teachers for the 2025-2026 school year is $65,000 which ranks among the top starting salaries across Texas.

Federal, state, and public service student-loan forgiveness programs are available for teachers and other educators.

Yes. Our Human Resources department, along with departments, will have Spanish speaking staff ready to assist.
