We know starting a new role comes with lots of questions – and we are here to help. This FAQ section is here to help you find quick answers to things most new hires ask about, like what to expect in the hire process, how to set up your email, or when you will receive your employee badge and contract.

3️⃣ Orientation & Training

Starting a new role is exciting – and we want to make sure you feel ready to jump in. Here you will find helpful information about New Staff Orientation and New Teacher Institute.

Additional training may be required by your principal or campus administrator on an as-needed basis. Any questions about these trainings should be directed to the principal or campus administrator.

If you are a mid-year hire and missed orientation and training at the beginning of year, no worries – your principal or campus administrators will be able to support you with mid-year training if needed.

Customer Care Center

For issues with username and passwords or any technology-related matter, contact the Customer Care Center at 281-897-4357 (HELP).

Employee Student Transfers

Child of an employee transfer requests will only be accepted for new employees or those who have been reassigned to another building/facility within 10 business days of hire date or notification of reassignment. If you have any questions or need a copy of the transfer request form, please feel free to visit your campus registrar or contact the Office of Student Services/Admissions at 281-517-6342.

Payroll

For any payroll-related matters such as direct deposit changes, name changes, and W-2 changes, please contact the Payroll Department at 281-897-4092 or payroll@cfisd.net.

Service Records

If you have previous experience in an accredited public or private school, an original, official service record will be required to ensure your salary reflects that experience. More information about service record requirements, and where they should be sent, can be found on our website.
