Human Resources (HR) has received your official hire from your principal.  Please keep an eye on your email throughout the process as this is how our HR team will communicate important updates and information.

The HR Assistant Director will review and confirm the following:

• Background/Fingerprints
• Certification
• References

The HR Specialist will confirm your placement on the campus roster.

The HR Assistant Director of Certification will review and confirm the following:

• Certification
• Start Date
• Salary 

For non-classroom teacher hires, such as Athletic Trainers, Behavior Specialists, Campus Instructional Specialists (CCIS), Campus Instructional Coaches (CIC), Directors of Instruction Helping Teachers (DITH), Educational Diagnosticians, Instructional Specialists (IS), Nurses, Librarians, Speech Pathologists, and LSSPs, you will receive salary information and your start date from the HR Compensation Analyst.  This will be after the HR Assistant Director of Certification reviews your file.

The HR Data Management Team will complete the following:

• Create your employee profile and assign an employee ID*
• Determine your first paycheck date

*Former CFISD employees will keep their previous employee ID.
 

The HR Certification Specialist is handling the following:

• Confirm completion of Part I and Part II of the I-9 (if applicable)
• Send instructions to sign your contract
• Send onboarding forms

You are officially hired!

You will receive an email with directions to schedule an appointment to obtain your employee badge.

Please note: If you are a new hire or rehire, the CFISD Badging Office will not release your employee badge until all onboarding forms are fully completed.
