Services Record Request
What to know before requesting your service record:
Service Records are available once you have resigned and completed your duty schedule. The Service Record is prepared 30 business days after the end of the duty schedule. Your new district will require the service record to be sent directly from CFISD to them, so please provide an email to your new district’s Human Resources Department salary credit contact person.
If you request a service record for Certification purposes only, an incomplete service record will be provided to expedite your request. We will email you the employee the service record, but you will need to send the service record to your university.
End of year resignations – Official service record with CFISD will not be generated until at least mid-June as the service record will have fully captured and calculated your leave balance at that time. There will be a 30-day turnaround time once the leave balances are calculated.
All service record requests will be processed in the order in which resignations are received and will be mailed to the mailing address you have on file with CFISD.
If you are requesting a service record during the middle of the school year, the record will reflect the most updated leave balances and will include only days worked up until the date the service record is generated.
There is a 30-day turnaround time once service record requests are received.
To request your service records, please email HRprofessional@cfisd.net with the subject title, “Service Records Request”. Please provide the following information:
- Name you used while employed with CFISD
- Your personal email address
- last 4 digits of your SSN or CFISD employee number,
- district/university
- contact name
- email address the records need to be sent to
